Estephany and Bryce are such a sweet couple with an even sweeter love story, and we were so excited to help bring their book themed wedding at Revere Golf Club to life. The pair originally met while working at the front desk and concierge desk at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. “After a year of building a solid friendship, friendly banter and exchanging life stories,” Estephany said, “we knew we’d be in each other’s lives for the long haul!”
Bryce surprised Estephany with a swoon-worthy proposal at his parents’ house just days before Christmas. “His family has a beautiful backyard that he stung bistro lights above. He played it off like we were going to dinner with his family only to make a pit stop to pick them up before we headed to the restaurant,” Estephany explained. “As we headed to the back door, outside was all our family and best friends gathered around wearing their coats and jackets. After realizing what was happening, my dad handed Bryce the ring as he got down on one knee and everyone opened their jackets to show t-shirts that said ‘Will You Marry Me?’ It was the best Christmas present I could’ve asked for!”
The pair loves to read, so they knew from the moment they were engaged that they wanted a wedding that focused on both literary themes and romance. They tied the two together by choosing design details centered around both books they love and scripture passages. The couple chose a dreamy deep red palette with accents of soft white, which was inspired by fall, Estephany’s favorite season.
For the ceremony, the couple chose to say I Do outside on Revere’s stunning emerald green golf course, with the Las Vegas Strip off in the distance as a beautiful backdrop. For the altar space, Floral by Dzign dressed the arbor in lush red and white roses, white spray roses and white hydrangea with accents of whimsical greenery throughout. We then lined the aisle with simple red and white rose petals to help define the space and bring in that romantic red touch Estephany was looking for.
After the ceremony, guests moved indoors to the Revere Clubhouse, where Linen by Dzign dressed guest tables in deep burgundy linen with gorgeous gold overlays. For centerpieces, we crafted low, focused arrangements that consisted of red and white roses, red dahlias and lush white hydrangea accented with greenery—all sitting atop a stack of books, which really helped to weave that literary theme throughout the room.
For table numbers, the couple crafted books that boasted each table number inside. These ended up being such a fun design detail.
The couple’s favorite part of the day, though? Their dessert table, which we set up on our fan-favorite Love Table and topped with tons of sweets, treats and, of course, stacks of books to help continue that literary theme.
Overall, the day was such a success and we loved weaving the pair’s passion for reading throughout the design aesthetic. We’re so honored Estephany and Bryce chose Weddings by Dzign to help bring their book themed wedding vision to life—and we want to wish them a special congrats on the new baby girl they’re expecting!
