UNLV Silver State Award
Kevin Kraft, founder and CEO of By Dzign, is the 2026 recipient of the Silver State Award, the highest honor the UNLV Alumni Association gives each year to a non-graduate for supporting the university. He receives it during Rebel Homecoming 2026. Since 2012, By Dzign has donated decor, staging, lighting, audiovisual and on-site staff to around 20 UNLV events a year, including Rebel Ready Week, graduation celebrations, Rebel Homecoming and alumni mixers. That is roughly $200,000 in in-kind support every year, and several million dollars over more than a decade. The partnership goes beyond events. By Dzign has hired dozens of students and alumni from the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality, about 10 of our current team members studied at UNLV, and Kevin and our staff regularly host warehouse tours and guest lectures for hospitality students.
