Getting to design Chentel and Mark’s wedding felt like true fate. Weddings By Dzign met the bride and her mother by chance at Westin Lake Las Vegas while we were on site setting up another wedding. We immediately hit it off and, soon after, Chentel and her mom chose Weddings By Dzign to design Chentel and Mark’s Lake Las Vegas wedding—and we couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of such a stunning celebration.
For the ceremony site, the couple chose the Andalusian Garden at Westin Lake Las Vegas. The spot is absolutely magical and offers the lake as a striking backdrop for unforgettable nuptials. Chentel was a destination bride, so our team worked closely with her mother Maria to help bring all of the design details to life.
We decided on a soft, romantic, fairytale-like aesthetic for the ceremony, which ended up feeling so light and airy. Linen By Dzign provided white chiffon draping with floral ties in peach, blush and ivory for the altar space, which really helped to create a soft, romantic feel. Floral By Dzign then lined the aisle with soft peach rose petals against a white patterned runner.
For Chentel’s stunning bouquet, our floral team created a timeless arrangement of all white roses and hydrangeas, which really helped to communicate that classic romance Chentel was going for. For the bridesmaids, we created focused arrangements of blush and peach garden roses and spray roses atop a hydrangea base.
For the reception, guests moved to the stunning Lotus Court at Westin, which is one of our all-time favorite reception settings for a Lake Las Vegas wedding. We dressed tables in classic ivory accordion linens and brought in our fan-favorite gold chiavari chairs with ivory cushions. Place settings were created using stunning gold lacquer chargers with a glass charger on top, which helped to add depth and dimension to the tablescape.
Centerpieces consisted of a towering glass bubble trumpet vase with a massive floral topper of roses and hydrangeas in a plethora of soft hues—like blush, peach and ivory. The stunning centerpieces really helped to add some height and visual interest to the space, and also helped to drive home that classic fairytale aesthetic Chentel and Mark were looking for.
Overall, we had such an amazing time working with this beautiful couple and the bride’s gracious mom to help bring their romantic Lake Las Vegas wedding vision to life. This amazing affair was one for the books, and it was an honor to be a part of such a special day.
